I attended General William H. Harrison Preparatory School (9103 Lakewood Dr SW, Lakewood, WA 98499) from September of 2012 until I graduated in June of 2016.

I started attending Pacific Lutheran University (12180 Park Ave S, Tacoma, WA 98447) in September of 2016 and am estimated to graduate in May of 2020.

I was a part of my High School Leadership Class from September 2014 to June 2016, and I attended a Leadership camp the summer of my 11th grade year.

Volunteering

The summer of my 9th grade year I volunteered at a pet boarding kennel called The Pet Brigade (Joint Base Lewis-McChord, 04907 Pendleton Ave, Fort Lewis, WA 98433) from June of 2013 to August of 2013, as a carer for the animals.

Community Service

I was a member of the Lakewood City Youth Council from September 2014 to June 2016, through this organization I volunteered at several community events such as Make a Difference Day, Truck and Tractor Day, and the Caring for Kids Holiday Fair.

Work Experience

My first semester of college, from October of 2016 to December of 2016, I worked in the Commons at Pacific Lutheran University, primarily as a dishwasher.

From February of 2017 until August of 2018 I worked at the Federal Way Vet Center (32020 32nd Ave S, Federal Way, WA 98001), which is a counseling facility for combat veterans dealing with PTSD and other mental health issues. I worked at the front desk, answering calls and questions, handling documents, and greeting the patients.

I worked again with Campus Restaurants as a Barista at the various PLU cafés last school year from September of 2018 to May of 2019 (I currently still have a valid Washington State Food Worker Card).

On top of that, last school year I was working part time at the YMCA, supervising Elementary School children in the mornings before their day starts. I did this at the locations neighboring where I previously lived in Gig Harbor, up until the end of the academic school year for all the elementary schools in the District.

Most of the jobs that I’ve worked have been seasonal in some way, typically lasting for a semester or school year. My most recent job has been a Groundskeeper on my campus, which I have worked as since June of last year.
